NexCall Privacy Policy
NexCall is a local-first phone dialer. It needs sensitive phone permissions to place calls, show recents, search contacts, handle opt-in quick replies and run SOS, but NextEra.One does not collect your call history or contacts on a server.
Call logs, contacts, favorites, notes, blocked numbers, SOS setup and recordings stay on your device by default.
NexCall does not use advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs or sell personal and sensitive user data.
Calls, SMS replies and SOS messages leave the device only when you start that communication.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the NexCall Android app and the public NexCall product pages operated by NextEra.One. It is written to explain how the app accesses, uses, stores and shares user data for Google Play review and for people using the app.
NexCall does not require a NextEra.One account. If that changes, this policy will be updated before account features are released.
2. Data NexCall accesses or stores on your device
NexCall accesses personal and sensitive data only for dialer features that users would expect from a phone app.

3. Data collected by NextEra.One
NextEra.One does not operate a NexCall account service, analytics backend, advertising backend or contact-sync backend for this app. NexCall does not upload your call history, contacts, recordings, SOS configuration, notes or blocked-number list to NextEra.One.
The public website may receive ordinary web server request information from visitors, such as IP address, browser type and requested page, through the hosting provider used to publish these static pages. The app itself does not send dialer data to that website.
4. Data sharing and user-initiated transfers
NexCall does not sell personal and sensitive user data. Data can leave your device in these user-initiated cases:
- Phone calls are handled by Android, your device, your phone carrier and the person or service you call.
- Call quick replies and SOS messages are handled through Android and your carrier to the recipients you choose.
- If an SOS message includes location, the selected recipients receive that location text or map link.
- If you open WhatsApp, Signal, Telegram, Viber, email or another app from NexCall, that app handles data under its own policy.
- If you install or open NexCall through Google Play, Google processes Play Store data under Google's policies.
5. Permissions
NexCall asks for Android permissions only when needed for phone-dialer functionality.
- Phone and call permissions: place and manage calls, answer incoming calls and display the in-call screen.
- Call log permissions: show and clear recent calls.
- Contacts permissions: search contacts, show caller names and let you edit or favorite contacts.
- SMS actions: NexCall does not request SMS read/write/send permissions. Quick replies use Android Telecom while NexCall is the default phone app; other SMS actions open a compose screen for confirmation.
- Location permission: attach location to SOS messages when you choose to use SOS location.
- Microphone permission: optional call recording after an explicit recording notice.
- Notifications, alarms, vibration and audio settings: show reminders and call UI, ring or vibrate, and control call audio.
6. Retention and deletion
- Call history remains in the Android call log and NexCall UI until you delete entries or clear call history.
- Local settings, notes, speed dials, blocked numbers, SOS setup and medical card text remain on device until you clear them or uninstall the app.
- Call recordings remain in NexCall app storage until you delete them or clear app storage.
- NextEra.One cannot recover deleted local data because it is not synced to a NextEra.One server.
- You can also use Android Settings > Apps > NexCall > Storage > Clear storage to remove local app data.
7. Security
NexCall relies on Android runtime permissions, Android app sandboxing and local device storage. Because NexCall does not run a cloud sync service for dialer data, there is no NextEra.One server copy of your call history, contacts or recordings. Communications that use carrier calling, SMS, other messaging apps or Google Play are governed by those providers' security practices.
8. Children
NexCall is not directed to children. The app is a phone dialer intended for users who are allowed to manage phone calls, SMS replies and device contacts on their Android device.
9. Changes and contact
NextEra.One may update this policy when NexCall changes how it handles data. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date.
